The VIG Dana Park: Reviews & Ratings
It was a solid experience all around. The steak frites were fire and the Vig Manhattan was smooth and well made. Shoutout to our server Caitlin—super cool, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Good vibes, good food, definitely coming back.
The VIG Dana Park is a fantastic new addition to this side of town! The chicken enchiladas were phenomenal—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was stylish yet welcoming, with a great vibe and friendly service. It was a bit busy when we went, likely because it’s newly opened, but the lively energy made it even better. I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!
We stopped by The Vig in Mesa for brunch and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was stylish yet laid-back, with great natural light and upbeat energy that made for a perfect weekend spot. The Honey Hot chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy, served with perfectly seasoned fries and a fresh side of slaw. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was stacked thick and paired nicely with sweet potato fries that hit just the right level of crisp. Both dishes came out hot and plated beautifully. We couldn’t skip the massive skillet cinnamon roll, which looked almost too good to eat. It was warm, gooey, and rich—definitely a shareable item for two (or three). For drinks, the espresso martini and margarita were well-crafted and balanced, rounding out the meal perfectly. Service was friendly and attentive without being rushed. The only reason for docking one star is that the food, while great, didn’t have much in options for a brunch menu—but the quality made it worth the visit. Overall, The Vig in Mesa AZ nails the modern brunch experience with solid food, great drinks, and a relaxed but upscale vibe. Definitely worth a return visit.
So excited to have the VIG in the east valley! The food was awesome, we started with the sweet chili wings, we shared the carne asada tacos and the poblano chicken enchiladas which are very filling on their own. The tacos are small but the filling is delicious and a good portion. We will be back for drinks!
Great place to take my dad for his bday, choices for everyone - from the 88 year old birthday boy to the 61 year old low-carb diet husband. The only awkward thing was trying to eat a turkey club sandwich (delicious). Hubby said I could totally handle it, that my mouth is big enough. I didn’t punch him. I just cut it apart. We sat outdoors on the patio which was perfectly comfortable due to the misters.
This is the second time visit. The food here is just as awesome as always. Staff are super friendly. If the weather is nice, it is recommended to sit at the outdoor tables. Had a great time there with my family.
We cam here for an early birthday dinner. I was super excited they had gluten free options or upgrades. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a LONG time here with a gluten free bun. The pesto on my friends pasta was so fresh and flavorful unlike a lot of other places. Their cocktails were well made but they also had mocktail options for those of us not drinking. The flour free chocolate cake was delicious but the rest of the dessert's were just OK. Overall, we will go back.
Hubby and I have been waiting for The VIG to open. Went to lunch here today before my hair appointment at Salon27 next door. It wasn’t crowded when we went in around 11:30, but by the time we left at 12:30, it was pretty full. Our waitress, Azhia, was fabulous. She was friendly and attentive without hovering. The food was so good. Hubby said it was the best burger he’s ever had. The Caesar salad with chicken was great. I love the Parmesan crisps they sprinkled on top. The butterscotch bread pudding was scrumptious. We got the ice cream on the side (I don’t like it on top of the warm bread pudding). The music wasn’t loud, which was nice. Not cheap, but worth the price. We will be back.
